As a prologue to the September 14 Metro KC Climate Action Coalition Summit (supported by Center for Architecture & Design), this workshop will educate and empower individuals and groups regarding actions that can make a critical difference in reversing global warming.
A long-time activist for social justice and sustainable living, Emily Libla works with 350KC to create a surge of action to address climate change. She will discuss Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming, written by a team of global experts and edited by Paul Hawken.
Participants will discuss specific options and resources that can be applied in everyday life and will leave with practical strategies for reversing global warming.
