KC-APA: Beyond the Loop

The Broadway Bridge, recently renamed the John Jordan “Buck” O’Neil Memorial Bridge, is a triple arch bridge over the Missouri River on U.S. Highway 169 that provides a key north/south regional connection. The Broadway Bridge is nearing the end of its projected lifespan, directly impacting downtown Kansas City. The City of Kansas City, MARC, and MoDOT are working together to examine the relationship between transportation infrastructure and the communities they serve through a project called Beyond the Loop.
